You and your little one will sing, dance, play percussion, and more, in a playful, supportive, total immersion fiesta. $220 for 10 week session To register e-mail MusicaParaMi@aol.com Music for Aardvarks  0-5 yrs | Fridays 9:30 + 10:30 | January 15-March 26 Come join in the fun at Music for Aardvarks classes - a musical experience for families with children ages 3 months to 5 years. We will explore music through song & gesture, dance & movement, rhythm training, and instrument play; using original music that celebrates the lives of children growing up in an urban environment. Written by David Weinstone, songs like Taxi, City Kid, and Subway provide children with a positive image of their world and help them relate to their surroundings.  $250 for 12 week session + a CD ($35 for siblings 6 months & older)  To register click here TODDLER up Montessori playgroups 18 mo - 3 yrs | Thursdays @ 11:30 | February 4th - April 8th A Montessori based playgroup where the parents and the children are invited to explore the Montessori method. This playgroup is designed to introduce parents to the ideas and techniques used in Montessori classrooms, while introducing the children to the specific materials. The children will be able to explore the practical life, language, and sensorial materials. These materials are intended to be introduced to children at certain stages in their development so that they can learn skills, primarily problem solving skills that enable them to keep on learning as they grow. A great intro to a group class. Class helps to develop motor, vocabulary and listening skills while being exposed to a variety of ethnic, classical, and folk music. Children get a chance to use scarves, ribbon wands and instruments to develop there imagination and creativity. Fun for the whole family! $400 for 17 week session | One time trial class: $25 To register click here Private Picassos Triangles, Squares and Circles, Oh My! 2-3 yrs | Tuesdays @ 10:30 | January 19-March 23 Young artists age 2-3 will explore shapes, color and strengthen their fine motor skills through a variety of 2 & 3 dimensional mediums. By focusing on a specific color or theme each session, children will build their skills with drawing, collage, painting and small-scale sculpture. $225 for 10 week session | $25 drop-in fee Matisse, Monet and Me 3-4 yrs | Tuesdays @ 11:30 | January 19-March 23 Budding Picassos age 3-4 will get inspiration for their artwork by looking at the work of fine artists.
