to a group class. Class helps to develop motor,
vocabulary and listening skills while being
exposed to a variety of ethnic, classical, and folk

ribbon wands and instruments to develop there
imagination and creativity. Fun for the whole

At Sign-a-Song infants, toddlers and their caregivers, are introduced to American Sign Language through live original music, finger-moving songs, and activities. Sign-a-Song has been hailed as an innovative sign language experience. Classes are team-taught by Sign-a-Song founder Andrea Fixell, a certified teacher of the deaf with 15 years of signing experience, and Ted Stafford, a rockin' guitarist/songwriter. Ages 3 months to 3 years...and grownups of all ages.

Music for Aardvarks with Audra Tsanos
Singer/songwriter and music educator Audra Tsanos has been rocking out with New York City families for the past eight years. AudraRox, her high-energy kid-rock band, is made up of six professional musicians, (mostly) moms and dads, who perform insightful, original songs that tackle everything from lost shoes and broken toys to sugar highs and short attention spans with a wry wit that appeals equally to children and their parents.

Let's Dance Brooklyn with Dina Rivera
Dina Rivera has been teaching dance and
movement for 15 years in California and New
York. She studied at NYU's Tisch School of the
Arts, Joffrey Ballet School and Ballet School NY.
She has been a professional dancer and actor for
more than 10 years and has performed in
theatre and dance companies regionally and in
New York City. She has taught at New York
Theatre Ballet children's school,
KINDERDANCE, KID'S CO-MOTION, and
public schools in upstate New York. She is co-
founder of Strange Sister Theatre Company.

Musica Para Mi with Graciela Carriqui
Graciela has been teaching young children since 1996 in various national children's programs, as a preschool, early grammar school music teacher, and choir director. She began Musica Para Mi in 1998, continuing her other teaching positions, and has focused primarily on her own program since 2003. She was recently awared the Internation School of Brooklyn's Community Excellence Award, in recognition of her pioneering work and commitment bilingualism and multiculturalism.
She is also a singer and composer of contemporary Hispanic art songs, and is in the middle of completing a cd of her own compositions.

Valeen received her BFA/MS in Art and Design Education from Pratt Institute. She first started this program to offer the highest quality of arts education, making the arts a priority, rather than an afterthought. After working in a variety of educational settings, including early childhood education centers, museums and community centers, Valeen decided to branch out on her own and create a program that would help every artist, young and old, reach their full potential

Maitri Health with Laura Fischer-Harbage
Laura Fischer-Harbage is a holistic nutritional counselor and the founder of Maitri Health, a private practice based in Fort Greene. Laura is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, an affiliate of Columbia University. She specializes in child and family nutrition, as well as fertility and reproductive health. Laura has helped many families, including her own, to make better food choices and achieve their most vibrant state of health.

Kate Lynch is a certified Kundalini Yoga, Radiant Child, Vinyasa Flow & Conscious Pregnancy Yoga teacher. Kate began Healthy Happy Yoga in 2002 to encourage awareness and inner peace. She was first introduced to yoga in her teens, and has been a disciplined practitioner since 1996. Committed to a lifetime of growth and service, Kate approaches teaching children with deep respect for the big souls in their little bodies. Her classes are nurturing, creative, challenging, friendly and fun.
